The Call Center Industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States and is rapidly becoming a global industry that continues to evolve as it grows. It is estimated that there are more than 50,000 call centers operating in the United States today, employing nearly 3 million people.
In an effort to improve its customer services, the Corporation has also entered the industry by starting its own call center. Although still in its embryo stage, the call center has already our level of service to customers by providing more prompt response to customer complaints, information and queries.
When fully operational, our Centralized Contact Center will serve as the Corporation’s central point of contact for customers and the general public or our one-stop-shop for all customer complaints, queries and information for New Providence and the Family Islands.
Our centralized contact center will eventually operate on a 24-hour basis. Currently, the Call Center operates from 8am to 5pm daily, with a more specific role under the Commercial Operations Division.
The Corporation continues to incorporate functions to improve customer service and the addition of a Centralized Contact Center is just another example of those efforts.
