Chairman - Mr. Leslie O. Miller
Chairman Miller, a businessman by profession, the CEO, President and Director of Sunburst Paints, Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Palace & Litec Coatings Limited, has over thirty years of experience and is the founding president of the Bahamas Light Industries Development Council, and former Executive Chairman of the Bahamas Electricity Corporation.
He served as Assistant Vice President of Planning with the General Bahamian Companies Limited, Vice President of Planning for A.C. Butler/HWB Finance Limited, Chairman of the New Providence Port Authority from 1987 to 1989, Chairman of BEC from 1989 to 1991 and Chairman of Town Planning from 1991 to 1992. In his desire to contribute to the betterment of human existence, he was a member of the late Prime Minister Pindling’s Youth Task Force on Employment. He is also a member of the American Industrial Development Council.
His early education was received at Palmetto Senior High School in Miami Florida, completing his tertiary education at University of Texas at El Paso; where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Miller completed Graduate School at the University of Texas, where he studied International Marketing, returning to The Bahamas in 1972.

Board Member - Mr. John Bain
John Bain was appointed to the Board of Directors in June 2012. Mr. Bain is a UK and US trained professional accountant who began his career at the Royal Bank of Canada, before being recruited as an accountant with the Chartered Accounting firm of Ernst & Young. He was appointed the Deputy CFO at BTC in 1990. He is the former CFO and Board member of Lloyds (TSA) Bank & Trust; the former Senior Vice President, Administration and Operations at the National Bank of Canada and the former Senior Manager, Supply Chain at BEC. He is currently the Managing Partner at UHY Bain & Associates, Chartered Accountants. The firm is involved in auditing, forensic accounting, information technology, fraud investigations, bankruptcy & insolvency and business turnarounds. Mr. Bain holds an MBA (Finance) from The Manchester Business School in the UK. He also holds membership in several professional accounting and information systems organizations in both the UK and the USA. He is married to fellow Chartered Accountant, Anita Bain, CPA, TEP, Senior Bank Examiner at The Central Bank of The Bahamas.
Board Member - Dr. Hubert Fowler
Board member Hubert Fowler is the owner and CEO of Guarantee Construction Company Ltd. Mr. Fowler boasts over 45 years of experience in the management and construction of projects ranging from residential construction and renovations to several large commercial landmarks, as well as major civil works.
Among his most notable projects are: the Financial Centre on West Bay Street, New Providence; the Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation’s headquarters in New Providence; and the Water and Sewerage Corporation’s earthbuilt reservoirs, pump houses and dock offices in North Andros.
Board Member - Mr. Carl Oliver
Deputy Director, Economic Planning for the Ministry of FinanceLiaison for International development financial institutions i.e. World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
Master of Arts in Degree in Economics from the Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Racine, Wisconsin, USA. He is currently the Secretary General in the Bahamas Association of Athletic Association (BAAA .His numerous Athletic Accomplishments are, took home the Bronze in the 4X400m relay in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Finalist 4x400m relay in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Finalist in the 4x400m relay in the 1999 World Championships, in Seville Spain, Gold in the 4x400m relay in the 2001 in Edmonton, Canada, Bronze 4x400m relay in the 2001 World Championships, in Paris, France and Bronze in the 4x400m relay in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester England.
